Balsam Bashing

Balsam Bashing

Every Friday, 10am-12pm

Parc Slip Nature Reserve, Bridgend

Join Parc Slips volunteers for some hands-on conservation work, fresh air and exercise and good company.

Himalayan balsam is an invasive non-native species that shades out native wildflowers and erodes riverbanks, as well as causing other issues for UK wildlife. Luckily it is easy to pull out, so come along and help them remove this invader, and keep Parc Slip full of lovely native wildlife.

For more information contact Parc Slip Nature Reserve on 01656 724 100 or email them at m.howells@welshwildlife.org
