Parkrun is 5K run against the clock, it’s all about the PB, they run all across the country on a Saturday Morning.
This event takes place at Porthcawl Seafront, Bridgend County, South Wales, every Saturday at 9:00am.
This event is free to attend but you need to register online.
The aim is to have fun. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!
Location of start
The event starts at the Lower Esplanade by the Coastguard Watchtower.
Getting there by public transport
Bus: The town of Porthcawl is within easy reach, where there is an efficient bus and coach service. They operate regular services to and from Cardiff and Swansea from Porthcawl. There is a local bus service to/from Bridgend Town Centre.
Train: A regular local and intercity train service runs from Bridgend Rail Station and hourly services from/to London Paddington and Swansea /Wales.
Getting there on foot
Head for the harbour end of the seafront. Meet near the Watchtower and Lifeboat shop.

If using SATNAV, the nearest postcode is CF36 3YW.
From the M4: Travelling from the M4, take exit 37 on to the A4229, which takes you directly to Porthcawl. On arrival go straight ahead at the roundabout onto the A4106 (Duel Carriageway) and straight ahead at the next roundabout, which takes you on to the Porthcawl seafront. The Pier is on your left as you approach the seafront.
